Strategyfinder Supports the Redevelopment of Accumoli
The goal of working with the Strategyfinder tool is to make complex interrelationships visible and manageable through a goal-oriented logic.

In Accumoli, a municipality known for its picturesque landscape and historic buildings, various initiatives aim to improve the quality of life and encourage young people to stay in the region. Challenges such as insufficient infrastructure for the elderly and a lack of employment opportunities, which force young residents to leave, were addressed in Strategyfinder online workshops.
Several workshops, led by Dr. Anita Reinbacher, brought together members of the Accumoli community. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 and geographical distance, these workshops facilitated effective and inclusive regional development plans, as well as the foundation for architectural planning processes. Through Strategyfinder’s scientifically grounded method, all participants had an equal opportunity to share their opinions and ideas, which were then transformed into structured development goals.
The outcomes of these workshops and the resulting architectural proposals—developed by students of the Master’s program in Membrane Structures under the guidance of Dr. Robert Roithmayr—offer practical approaches to promoting sustainable tourism and improving living conditions through e-mobility and enhanced childcare services. These proposals were presented to the Accumoli community with the goal of developing a comprehensive strategy for the region’s future.
